Aventino Verdjo - Viura is a delicious addition to our Aventino Collection with vines that are between 12 and 20 years old. As Ribera del Duero is know for the old vines Tempranillo, neighbouring Rueda is know for quality white wines from the classic Spanish grape varietals, Verdejo and Viura. As part of the Aventino Collection this wine is the result of cutting edge winemaking, viticulture and strict grape selection.

The grapes were harvested at night - the cold grapes preserve their natural acidity and aromatic characters much better. The grapes were pressed and the juice then fermented in stainless steel tanks.

The wine is a blend of 50% Verdejo and 50% Viura. It is a wine that reflects a lot of characters: citrus fruits, peach, melon, a wine with a delicious refreshing acidity.
