The wines in our Aventino Collection are a reflection of the old vine Tempranillo grapes from the extreme
DO Ribera del Duero. Altitude, climactic conditions and soils combine to produce wines of character, with intense colors, aromas and flavors. The winemaking skills employed are designed to craft wines that vary in complexity, structure and approachability, while maintaining the unique characteristics of the native Tempranillo grape.

Aventino Tempranillo - only 15% of the wine is put into new oak barrels and then for only 4 months. This light touch of oak enhances the natural fruitiness and tannins of the Tempranillo grapes.

Aventino Roble - aged in French oak barrels for 6 months and then bottle-aged for a year before release, the wine exhibits fine aromas and flavors of grape and fine-grained French oak.

Aventino Crianza - aged in American and Eastern European oak barrels for 12 months and then aged in bottle for another 24 months before release, this wine has had plenty of time for the grape and oak flavors and tannins to harmonize to perfection.

Aventino 200 Barrels - A selection of our finest Tempranillo wines from our oldest vineyards, aged for 14 months in two hundred French oak barrels. A limited and individually numbered release.

Avent Old Vines Tempranillo, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon is very similar to our Aventino Tempranillo, except that it is available in 3 liter Bag-in-Box (BiB).

Aventino Verdejo - Viura from the famous Rueda DO region is the only white wine in the Aventino Collection and is a blend of two traditional Spanish grape varietals: Verdejo and Viura.
